The cornerstone of Su Refugio Ministries is the rescuing of abandoned and abused children in Paraguay. As they are loved and cared for in Christian family units on the Su Refugio campus, these children have the opportunity to encounter the hope and restoration of Christ.

A child placed into the Children’s Home arrives by judicial order from the Paraguayan government as a result of abandonment, neglect, or physical or sexual abuse. A child may live at Su Refugio for a matter of weeks or for the remainder of her childhood, depending on the court’s ability to reunite the child with a stable family member. Whether their stay is long or short, every child and teenager is shown Christ’s love in word and deed by their caregivers and the staff.
