Music School Video
What started as beginner guitar lessons in the neighborhoods of Tobatí has grown into an established academy of music at the Su Refugio campus that reaches dozens of Tobatí’s families.
The Music School brings music education to children who have few options for enriching extracurricular activities. Music is not only a creative outlet, but it serves to train children in discipline and perseverance as they strive toward their goals. The Music School has also cultivated relationships with Tobatí’s public schools, and this has allowed students and families throughout Tobatí to hear the gospel as it is shared in their schools’ music courses.
Today, children are learning to sing and to play a variety of string, wind, and brass instruments. As children and teens participate in community events or serve on their church’s music team, they are being trained to use their skills to bless and minister to others.
